Gear Up for SCOOP with PokerStars’ February Warm-Up Series

PokerStars is heating up the online felt in February with the SCOOP Warm-Up series, giving players the perfect prep for the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), which returns in March—two months earlier than usual. Running from February 1–16, this series features a mix of bounty, Mystery Bounty, vanilla, and high-stakes $22 events, catering to grinders of every level.

$5.50 Knockout Action

The series kicks off with low-stakes bounty tournaments starting at $5.50, offering prize pools between $20,000–$30,000. Highlighting the schedule are three $5.50 PKO Micro Bounty Builder HR events on February 1, 8, and 15, each with a $30,000 guarantee. Players start with 25,000 chips (100 BB) and a $1.25 starting bounty, with five re-entries allowed across the 2.5-hour late registration period. Weekday editions offer $20,000 guarantees, while Big Knockout versions on February 5 and 12 feature $1.84 starting bounties.

$11 Mystery Bounty Tournaments

The Mystery Bounty format remains a fan favorite, combining traditional payouts with surprise bounty prizes. Two $11 Mystery Bounties with $50,000 guarantees run on February 4 and 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. GMT. Players receive 166 BB starting stacks, and levels run 8 minutes each with a 2-hour, 10-minute registration window. For bigger thrills, 7-Max Turbo Mystery Bounties with $40,000 guarantees run on February 7 and 14 at 8:30 p.m., with $30,000 allocated to the bounty prize pool.

Vanilla Tournaments for All

Classic no-bounty tournaments feature generous structures and deep stacks. The Opener on February 1 kicks off with a $40,000 guarantee and 12-minute levels, while The Marathon on February 7 and 14 offers $25,000 guaranteed with 12–15 minute levels and extended late registration periods.

$22 Events with Six-Figure Prize Pools

High-value action comes at the $22 buy-in level, including the Mystery Sunday Special on February 8, a two-day event with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Levels range from 12–15 minutes, with a Day 1 break at 7 hours, 50 minutes and late registration open for 4 hours. The StacKOsaurus returns three times during the series, offering $100,000 guarantees at $22 with 50,000 starting stacks, $5 starting bounties, and 3.5-hour late registration windows.

From micro-stakes grinders to high-stakes enthusiasts, the SCOOP Warm-Up provides a chance to sharpen skills, chase bounties, and take a swing at six-figure prize pools—all ahead of the March SCOOP festival.
